I cannot think of a better time for this book to be available.
Job Hunting is a scary proposition to everybody! Whether you are a seasoned pro or a newcomer - this is a scary thing. Thanks to this timely book, the process is greatly demystefied and brought back down to a level that the job hunter can understand.
Although it claims to be aimed at people trying to get their first job, I have to say that this easy to follow and down to earth book covered off all the basic issues of job hunting that can be used by anybody looking for a job.
What I liked was the step by step process of doing the hunting - broken down in easy to accomplish goals and steps - made this book inspiring and can certainly be used as a reference tool for the job hunter.
You can tell that the author has experienced in the field and this only adds to the authenticity and ideas of the book.
As a former HR Manager, I am constantly amazed at how totally unprepared people who are looking for a job can be - and, this has ended up being their downfall, in my eyes, on more than one occasion.
Doing the work beforehand - and making sure you have all your "ducks in a row" before you even consider sending out that first resume is the most crucial thing you can do and this book gives you the blueprint one step at a time to make sure that you are well prepared and have all the tools you will need to get the job you want.
Author Matt M. Gordon, by writing Job Hunting 101, has done all the hard work for you - now it's time that you do the rest.
