The serious affiliate marketing companies also gad to develop. They offered price comparison services and time consuming-time saving services, besides high search engine ranking and traffic increase.
The problems appeared because affiliate marketing companies get their payment from internet marketing companies using different methods. Some affiliate companies are paid per performance; that is, they receive a fee for every new customer, it is not enough to increase the traffic rate. It has to be qualitative traffic rate, targeted on the business's domain, so that the visitors turn into customers.
Other affiliate marketing companies receive their money for every new visitor brought to the website they are working for. It is called pay per click. Business runners are satisfied if their website traffic is high. It doesn't matter for them whether the number of customers also increases, although it should matter; it is the number of customers that makes the business successful.
