The One Thing You Need to Make Money Online

This is some thing that all business who are online want to do, and that is to make money, it can be with Google AdSense or with Kontera or through writing online articles. Some website owners will argue the simple way to make money online is by using the power of the search engine.

Really what it takes to make money online is far simpler than this. It is called a business plan, although it is also called a marketing plan, this is the one thing you will need to make money online, and build your business.

The reason a marketing plan is vital is because, like a book, if you are not sure how to begin, or where it begins or how to build up your reputation online, you will not see much success making money, especially with Google AdSense, or Kontera. The truth is that if you are not making money with Google AdSense, even Kontera admits you will probably not make money with them.

The question then becomes what sort of marketing plan should you have?

A marketing plan should not be short, so plan to write several pages, plan for what you want your website to be about, (include content and how to promote it and where to put your ads) and most importantly who to "sell" it to. Read this a few times and be smart about it. Not everyone will go to this website, as not every one needs what you have to offer. Figure out who will come, roughly, in terms of age groups and how to maintain this site so that your traffic will come again and click on an ad.

Write about how you will market this site. Will you go to forums and leave a link there? Will you write online articles to expand your profile and get traffic which will potentially make you money? How much money are you willing to spend to market your site?

These questions need to be addressed along with how much money you will expect to make through your ads by Google, or ads by Yahoo, or any other pay-per-click affiliate you choose. For the most part, you will also need to learn about links and about how Google looks at the links you put out. The more good links you have the more chances your money from Google AdSense will be better than a website with no links at all.
