The Number One Reason Why Search Engines Love Blogs

Why you NEED a blog, to build credibility and help increase your visibility.

Blogs are everywhere. You name an industry, there will be a blog on it. Whether it's iPhones, retro ZX Spectrum games, dog walking or flower arranging, you can guarantee there is a blog on it.

But there's an even better reason to have a blog, and that is because Search Engines LOVE them, especially Google. If you have your blog set up in the correct way, and have been regularly adding fresh content, you can have your new blog post indexed within seconds, THAT'S how much Google loves blogs. Search engines love blogs because of their RELEVANCE.

But running a blog is not an overnight thing, They take time to build up, nurture and populate with great content, before Google will give you the light of day.

Without these things, you may get temporary "love" from Google, and artificial rankings that are often afforded to new websites, but without a constant flow of fresh content, your site will drop like a stone.

So how do we make Google love our blog?

Firstly, you need to be using the free blogging platform "WordPress". There's no two ways about it. People will argue with you until they're blue in the face that something else is better, but WordPress is head and shoulders above them all in terms of the "plugins" available. WordPress plugins are small pieces of software that provide additional functionality to your blog. Some of these plugins will automate processes for you, some will even work in your favour to increase your Google rankings. And the best thing about it, a hell of a lot of them are FREE.

With the best plugins installed on your blog, you can sit back and let WordPress do the hard work for you. All you need to do is provide the content - the freshest, most relevant and well written content you can write, the better.
