Aimed primarily at entertainment tasks, the Nokia X6 has proven to be a popular handset since its release in December 2009. The Nokia X6 provides access to the Internet thanks to a HSDPA at speeds of up to 3.6 mega bytes per second, in areas covered by 3G. A faster connection can be achieved thanks to integrated Wi-Fi Technology which detects the signals provided by wireless Internet routers and utilises these to provide a faster connection at up to broadband speeds. Connection to cellular networks are provided via class 32 versions of both EDGE and GPRS.
