Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

The Nokia 8800 Diamond Arte is a variation of a theme for this range of Nokia handsets. It has already come out in different versions including a stunning Gold version, however Nokia are trying to go one better by offering the Diamond version. It is a well designed handset which offers fashion over functionality. It is 109 mm x 45 mm wide and is 14 mm thick. It weighs 150 grams. It is a slider phone which oozes style and appeals to anyone looking for a touch of class.

The phone comes with 2.0 inch OLED display screen which displays 16 million colours via screen pixel size of 240 x 320 pixels. Imagery is displayed in stunning clarity and vibrancy with effective colour reproduction. An accelerometer sensor is included which automatically rotates images to their correct aspect.

The camera provided with the phone is a 3.15 mega pixel camera which operates at a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels. Auto focus is provided to help the user take effective images whilst on the move. For those who prefer video recording and playback as the means of capturing images, this phone offers that too, at VGA quality and at 15 frames per second. On of the most impressive elements of the phone is its internal memory which is 4 Gb. This is large enough to hold a great deal of downloads and images.

The phone comes with GPRS, EDGE, HSCSD, Blue tooth and USB. This offers a menagerie of connectivity with the ability to share files seamlessly as well as synchronise elements of the phone with a PC if desired.

Additional elements included within the phone are an MP3 player, voice memo. The player will play the majority of downloadable files such as MP3, AAC whilst the memo feature offers the ability to take oral notes whilst out and about.

The Nokia 8800 Diamond Arte is a phone which has no equal, certainly in the style stakes. It offers unadulterated quality and fashionable external features whilst its functionality provides the means to perform numerous tasks. Its popularity will rely on the external appeal of the phone more so than its functions.
