The Lord is my Master designer and programmer, I shall not crash.
Even as I walk through the dark valley of Silicon, I will fear no evil for He protects me from power surges and failures.
He leads me in green disposal and into His new program paths. He delivers me from spammers and hackers.
He is my Motherboard and makes available His Applications for installation on the hard drive of my heart.
His commands are MacroSoft user-friendly.
His directory guides me to right choices on the keyboard processor of my life.
Even if I receive spam, I will fear no evil viruses, For He is my protection and my backup.
His Word is my encrypted password for my security.
He cleans my system daily and is my firewall so I can stand in the presence of my enemies.
His help is only a prayer click away.
Surely goodness and mercy will follow me in all the daze of my life, and my files will be cleaned, merged and saved by Him, even as I am, forever.
Like computers we were designed for a purpose. Purposelessness, selfishness, prejudice and greed are individual problems that become the collective problems of our society. Subtly our moral and spiritual foundation erodes as we lose sight of the divine purpose for our lives. Apathy and selfish ambition replace love for God and man.
A reprogramming solution must begin where the problem begins - with the individual. As individuals are changed, we, our families, communities and cultures are restored. It is here that God, in His great, in spite of kind of love, that He offers us a bridge over the widest communication and relationship gap of all time.
A wristwatch used as a shim to level a table fills a purpose, but not the purpose for which it is designed. Its true worth can be realized only when it functions as designed by its designer. Like a fish out of water, we struggle for fullness of life apart from the relationship of our designed purpose.
Our challenge in today's world is twofold. First is our transformation through reconciliation to God through the narrow "politically incorrect" gateway as Christ claimed to be God and the only way, the truth and life.
It is necessary to be born spiritually before one can grow spiritually. The fulfillment of God's purpose cannot be experienced without first knowing him through his son, Jesus Christ according to Biblical reference. His love compelled Him to "bridge" the gap between our sinful "virus-hacked" condition of life lived in separation from a holy God to a new union of friendship with God through the provision of His Son, Jesus Christ. In knowing Him you will want to respond in loving Him and others, and as you do, you will fulfill the First Commandment and the Second, as well. It is not all about me. It is all about Him as our Master Programmer in control of molding and shaping our "hardware and software" and how and for what it is used.
Anything less will not satisfy the longing of our heart and robs God, us and others of our highest good.
Second is discovering the adventure of what it means to love God and love one another. As we respond to His perfect and irresistible love, He empowers us to grasp the offensive and displace the forces of evil that would destroy us, our families, our culture, nation and our world. We can become reconciling agents guiding others to experience this regenerated life of purpose and fulfillment. Love is something He is and something He does. We were made to be filled and complete with His "hardware and software. Anything less will not satisfy the longing of our hearts and robs God, us and others of our design for the highest destiny.
With this truth before us, we can no longer responsibly sit on the sidelines in bewilderment at the world's sin and tragedy. Our role as spectators and critics must now turn to positive action. We will be compelled by His love to be, to do and to go. If our life is about what He is and what He is doing, He will be glorified. Conversely if our life is all about me, what I am and what I do, than we eclipse His glory and live with the darkness of our own self glorification and gratification. Might it be said of me, look and see God's love in Him and through Him to bless people wherever and no matter whoever they are.
The purpose we choose for life will determine more than anything else how we process, our fulfillment and the outcome of our living. This is not a performance driven life. It is a purpose led life of adventure. His love is the wellspring as an artesian fountain of blessing to all who drink from His Living Water. It flows effortlessly and spontaneously and does not need to be pumped, cranked or driven.
By exploring the boundless heights and depths of His love, you will want to respond to and be motivated by His supernatural love. Your life will then become all that God intended it to be and all you could ever hope it to be. You will become an ambassador of His good will. If God designed us for a purpose it makes sense that He could likely reprogram and run our life better than we can. Could there be victory and completeness in surrender to the Master Programmer of the Universe? It is in His design we can experience our highest and most noble destiny.
We are invited to this adventure with Christ's spirit living in us and His love compelling us. Your blessings will know no boundaries even through the trials and uncertanties of this life.
