The LG GB102 Offers Simplicity and Style at an Affordable Price
Print This Article Ezine Publisher Send To Friends Add To Favorites Post A Comment Suggest Topic Report Author

The LG GB102 is a simple mobile phone. It offers limited features, however that is one of best selling points of the phone. The phone is smooth, svelte and light weight. This is the perfect handset for those who hate to burden their pockets. It is a great designer styled slider phone with limited functionality that also has a low price. It is ideal as a replacement phone or as an additional handset.

This handset was launched in August 2009. The first aspect that you notice about this handset is its CSTN screen. This screen displays a wide plethora of 65,000 colours. The camera has a resolution capacity of 128 x 128 pixels. This resolution aspect does not qualify for producing great looking or dynamic pictures. However, you would fall for the easy navigation aspect offered by this handset. There is a scroll wheel on the home screen that allows you to gain instant access to all the inbuilt functions. Moreover, there are additional keys provided in the control panel that aid during the navigation. These keys are specially designed to make your mobile access simple and effective.

The phone offers a wide range of polyphonic tunes to download and set as your alert tone. This means, you can personalise this handset according to your own needs. Also, this mobile comes with an intuitive speakerphone that allows you to chat hands-free. This feature is useful as it totally negates the need to hold the set whilst talking. Many users will be fond of the handset for its phone book features. Its call record feature can store up to ten last dialed, received and missed numbers. Furthermore, it makes the means of sending and receiving messages really effective and convenient for the users.

The GB102 is just 14 mm thick. This means that you can easily carry it in your pocket. It measures just 103mm x 45 mm. This makes the handset easy to hold and carry in your palms for long. The main screen is 1.5 inches long. This size is good enough to enable a clear view of your text messages. It has a standby of 400 hours and a talk time of 6 hours and thirty minutes.

This handset is simple and understated and it may be the best pick for those who are just looking for fulfilling their basic utilities of making and receiving calls. The candy bar look of the device makes it a nice accessory.
