The formation of Hogwarts castle can be extracted from the figments of creativity. It is remarkably mentioned in the creation of J.K.Rowling's narration. The Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry is said to be most renowned school for witch and wizards. The school accepts the admission of students from eleven to seventeen years old. There are several other schools where the wizards go to but Hogwarts is considered to be most acclaimed school.

Houses:

The students are required to study under segregated dormitories. These dormitories are named after Godric Gryffindor, Salazar Slytherin, Rowena Ravenclaw and Helga Hufflepuff. These are meant to compete throughout the year by earning or losing points and credits.

Gryffindor- This house respects the courage, bravery, chivalry and boldness. Its mascot is the lion and possesses red and gold colours. According to the Rowling it corresponds to the element of fire.

Slytherin- This house values hard work, loyalty and fair play. Its mascot is the badger and possesses yellow and black colours. To Rowland, it corresponds to the element earth.

Ravenclaw- This house respects intelligence, creativity and learning. Its mascot is an eagle and has the colours of blue and bronze. It represents the element of air.

Hufflepuff- This house values leadership, ambition, cunning and resourceful. Its mascot is serpent and has the colours of green and silver. It corresponds to the element of water.

Towers:

The Hogwarts castle comprises vast land and has the elephantine image of appalling building. With the impalpable image of virtual Hogwarts, it has triggered many interests in order to explore more. Its main structure is held by the towers. These are separated and occupy the huge region.

North tower: The divination classes and divination teacher's office is located in this tower. The entrance consists of a ladder passing through a trap door.

Library tower: This tower is the part of the grand Hogwarts library and located right next to the astronomy tower. This tower is believed to contain more shelves and books than the library of Hogwarts School of witchcraft and wizardry.

Clock tower: It is one of the prominent features of Hogwarts castle that houses many gears and bells running inside this tower. There is a gigantic clock at the top of the tower. And very interestingly it does not begin at the ground level. Since it is placed on the top of the hill, it begins from the third floor.

Dark tower: This tower is considered to overlook the transfiguration courtyard. There also a small cell which is situated at the top of the tower where the Sirius Black was held.

West tower: We can signify this tower with the existence of the owlery at the top of this tower.

Astronomy tower: This prominent tower is the tallest tower of the Hogwarts castle where students study the stars and planets though their telescopes. This tower is intently built out of bounds from any class in order to see stars at the midnight.

The grandeur of this castle is so enchanting that can enrapture all the rational minds. The gigantic structures indicate the proper delivery for all facilities to the students practicing magic. It can be seen as almost competing the features and function of a well established university.
