The Holidays Are Coming - How's That Weight Loss Program Going?

It's August it's hot there's vacation time and all that the holidays are a long way off. So what's the problem? Your always going to find excuses for not starting that healthy eating and exercise program. The fact of the matter is instead of waiting for that New Years resolution ( that we both know you won't keep) start developing the healthy eating and exercise habits now.
The subtle changes you start making now will develop into part of your daily routine that will allow you some of that cheating at the holidays that we all know will happen. Look no matter how good you are about healthy eating and exercise you should always allow yourself a little cheat time.
Starting now with cutting down and eventually out the junk food, starting that exercise program weight training, Tabata training or Interval Training whatever you chose you will start dropping some pounds slimming, firming and toning your muscles. Starting now and seeing the results that will come along think about turning some heads with that new leaner, sexier body at your holiday parties.
So by starting now getting into good habit's shedding some of that extra fat your carrying around you will find that come holiday time you will be less inclined to stuff yourself and wind up feeling guilty about it. Creating good habits now will cut down and more than likely eliminate that after the holiday guilt you have every year.
First determine your fitness goals. Do you need to lose 20 lbs? Are you physically inactive? Only you can decide that but if this is new to you start slowly eliminate one junk food item a day to start with and gradually keep eliminating till you are eating healthy all the time. Start that exercise program(first get a physical and your doctors okay). Start slowly if your not active now. Remember if your looking for fat loss you need to raise your metabolism. Weight Training, Tabata's and Intervals will blowtorch that fat off.
The key is doing it now and not waiting till later. I'll do it after the holidays because I know I'll pig out then doesn't cut it it never has why should it now?
