The game of Tetris is among the leading and most characteristic video game franchises and brands all over the globe. In June of year 1984, Alexey Pajitnov made Tetris in his free time whilst working for Moscow Academy of Sciences. In year 1989, Game Boy was launched with an included Tetris cartridge. The Tetris version of Game Boy went on to shatter previous gender and age barriers and made an international trend selling over 35 million copies all over the world. Tetris is being played in over fifty countries and translated into over fifty languages. It has also been launched on more than thirty platforms.
