I've written the following article to inform you of the history of Spain. I love Spain because it's so hot. I love the fact that their homes are so cool and welcoming because of their heat and lovely heat.
In 1100 BC Lebanon set up trading colonies on the Spanish coast. Then the Greeks started to trade along the coast in the North-eastern side of the country. Once Phoenicia feel the country was now ruled by Carthage but then shortly after was ruled by Rome after the Punic wars. Once Rome ruled for an impressive six hundred years and during this time they implementing the Latin language, their laws, the municipality and finally a new religion; Christianity.
As everyone knows the Roman Empire finally fell after a long time of ruling after this the Suevi, Vandals and Alans came to Spain but unfortunately were defeated by the Visigoths. Buy the end of the 6th century most of the Peninsula was occupied by Visigoths.
By the 8th Century the Arabs had entered the country from the south. All put a small area of the north the country was conquered by the Arabs.
In 1469 Isabella of Castile and Ferdinand of Aragon where married; two catholic monarchs which prepared the way for the two kingdoms to be united in Spain. This began the period of growing success in the country.
1492 under the command of Christopher Columbus America was found and then finally the Canary Islands which then became part of the Spanish territory by 1495. Spain then took Naples from France and Navarre was also taken into the Kingdom.
