Gardening is just an easy and fun activity. But, before you can start planting your gardening, knowing all the necessary equipment and tools is an important piece to achieving the successful and bountiful garden.

Spading rake and fork - these are used to improve and prepare the soil before planting. These smaller hand tools are perfect if you work best while kneeling in the dirt.

Hoe - this is for cultivation and weeding and also ensures that the plants get the appropriate water and nutrients. A weed free and overall clean garden is a healthy garden.

Pots - these are used when you don't want to plant directly into the ground.

Water pot - naturally, this is used for watering. You can make your own water pot by getting a used can make holes at the bottom so the water that you give is regulated and doesn't drown your little garden babies.

Pair of sheers or weed cutters - used for pruning, removing, and shaping branches and foliage.

Shovel - used for planting big plants like shrubs or trees.

Muck boots and pair of gloves - used to protect the feet and hands from harmful objects and dirt.

The gardening tools needed for basic successful gardening can be bought at your local garden center or even one of the big box stores. You will find all the kinds of gardening tools in these places, some of which can be bought individually or some times in a set. Even if you are not familiar with these tools, they are quite easy to find. If you are really a beginning gardener, then you will probably find it more helpful to visit a local nursery where you will often find many experts in the field who are more than happy to talk with you about their gardening passion. A wonderfully rewarding hobby, gardening tools help you to achieve the bountiful harvest you desire.
