Brazilians from Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba will meet in the main event of the UFC 126 Live Fight in Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on February 5th in the persons of Anderson Silva and Vitor Belfort. The battle that they will perform against each other will become another breath-taking scene for their fans who will be watching the event in the comfort of their homes through pay-per-view and live in the audience itself as well. These two have been set to fight each other for so many times but those fights were never put to realization. But, finally, the event will happen next month and this will hopefully satiate the expectations of the fans that have been waiting for them to bring the excitement in the octagon.
Main card fights include the clash between former UFC Light Heavy Weight champion Forrest Griffin and former UFC Middle Weight champion Rich Franklin who is also holding a brown belt in Brazilian Jujitsu.
To fight for the Welterweight Belt, still under the main card, are Jake Ellenberger and Carlos Eduardo Rocha. Ellenberger was supposed to fight Jon Fitch in this UFC 126, but Fitch was held to fight BJ Penn in the upcoming UFC 127.
Jon Jones and Ryan Bader will face each other to win the Light Heavyweight Championship. Jones was dubbed by Dana White himself as one of the best light heavyweight combatants worldwide. Jon Jones had a Knockout of the Night Award when he beat Brandon Vera last March 2010.
Bantamweight fighters Miguel Torres and Antonio Banuelos will compete in the ring also, still under the main card event. Torres was a former Bantamweight Champion for WEC. As the WEC fighters were merged with the UFC fighters, Torres will debut his skills in this UFC 126 Live event.
Preliminary cards will also provide the fight between Paul Kelly and Donald Cerrone. For the Featherweight category, Japanese Michihiro Omigawa will battle against American Chad Mendes. Paul Taylor will also be facing Gabe Ruediger under the Lightweight category. Norifumi 'KID' Yamamoto and Demetrious Johnson will brawl under the Bantamweight class. For the welterweight division, Mike Pierce and Kenny Robertson are combating each other in the eight-sided ring. And for the light heavyweight group, the fight will be Kyle Kingsbury versus Ricardo Romero.
Any UFC event is an exciting one, and seeing all these fighters in the ring to defend their titles or to challenge the champions will be thrilling and exhilarating at the same time. So it is really recommended for you to watch UFC 126 live on Las Vegas or pay per view this coming 5th of February. Don't miss the fun!
