Let me share with you my experience as to how I was able to turn what as previously just a hobby that earned me about fifty dollars per month, to around $250 per day plus a monthly residual income stream using nothing more than a digital camera that cost me less than $500.
If you didn't know by now, you can make money by simply taking photos with your digital camera and submitting them to various photo stock sites that sell the rights to use your photos to various people. Customers of these sites essentially use your photos to design their websites or brochures or any number of reasons.
For those who have tried this as a way to make money will quickly find that there is a big difference between those who are successful at this money making method and those who only make a few bucks here and there. Many believe that their success is a direct factor of how good they are at taking photos but whilst this does have some impact - not many people will use out of focus, blurry or photos with bad lighting for instance, there are other more important reasons why some people are much more successful at this money making method than other people. Its the difference between making about fifty bucks a month versus $250 per day! Once you know how, its not hard for even the most amateur photographer to start making a good income stream. And you don't even need an expensive camera to achieve this - you don't need an expensive digital SLR to make this money - I was able to achieve this level by using my own camera that costs me less than $500.
So what are the secrets that will turn this method into making a very solid daily income stream? Well, here are the things you need to know in order to be successful with this method:
- You need to know who is paying the highest rates for your photos and get them not to just accept your photos but come begging for them;
- You need to know the websites that will be begging for your photos and who will pay premium rates to get them;
- You need to know exactly what to take photos of - what are the subjects in most demand and that will get you the premium rates;
- You need to know how to select the right keywords when you upload them to a site so that as many people will find your photo as possible and want to buy a license to use them - each time paying you a nice little royalty;
- You need to know how to sell your own photos on your own website thereby keeping all the profits for yourself;
- You need to know how to write great sales copy for your photos that will have people wanting to buy them all the time;
- You need to know how to dramatically increase the acceptance rate of your photos to photo sites
All of this information is the key to ensure that you are doing the right things in order to make a solid income stream from this easy money making method. So you are probably wondering where you get all this information from? Well, I discovered all of these lessons and more in a comprehensive guide called Camera Dollars. This eBook showed me all the information I needed to know and opened my eyes to other ways I can make money through taking photos with my digital camera including selling my photos on eBay, taking photos of vehicles for eBay Motors, how to take photos at sporting events and selling them online and more. But here's the important thing, not only did it open my eyes up to these other methods of making money with my photos, the guide also told me how to go about doing it.
