Too many people within the network marketing industry make a very common mistake when it comes to duplication. This mistake is changing their personality to be exactly like their sponsor. With so many different types of people working in this industry, it's very clear that not everyone is capable of emulating their sponsor to the fullest.
A good example would be an all star sponsor pulling leads in every single day and sign up ten new distributors daily. His or her personality is also so incredibly magnetic that people are naturally pulled toward them. The confidence your sponsor displays is extremely high.
However, you are completely shy. Going out to connect with people in an exciting manner is difficult most of the time and therefore you're not able to create a high number of leads. You sometimes second guess yourself. What are you going to do about it?
Marketers in this industry think success is completely copying their sponsor which couldn't be further from the truth. Doing exactly what their sponsor does is an idea that has to be addressed.
I'm not saying you shouldn't use your sponsor as a role model as to how you should act in order to be successful. This doesn't mean you shouldn't ask them how to generate leads or overcome objections; I'm saying you are unique and so is he.
Coining a new phrase to your work or creating an original logo design is a great way to brand yourself. Try adapting these tactics to producing videos. Just remember to stick to the outline your sponsor lays out for you. You will be able to be yourself while having fun.
Remember, there is a huge difference between having role models and completely copying people. Start figuring out what methods you can use and how you can make it your own; this is the first step to marketing and branding yourself.
