Even though they can be expensive, think about how much it would cost you if unable to finish an important work item when you really need it because you run out of laptop power.

When looking to purchase an external battery, be sure that it will be compatible with your notebook. Just like corded power supplies, most universal power sources come with numerous adapter tips which allow them to connect to most major brands. That's the main thing you'll want to look for when purchasing; that the item has the right tip to plug into your notebook.

When researching options for you laptop power supply, don't rule out the battery option. Although they can be relatively expensive compared to normal power supplies, these external batteries can add massive mobile life to your notebook.
