Urban caching truly is an art of all its own and requires a complete different set of skills. They are usually placed in high muggle areas and require enormous amounts of stealth to nab. A lot of cachers will attempt these types of caches on their lunch breaks from work or for some other reason during the day. Although they may find this effective and an efficient way to spend their time, I believe differently. I acknowledge that these caches can be quick park and grabs at times and are very capable of being found during the day. However, the best way to hunt these caches that require stealth is to venture out at night.
By waiting until it is later into the night, a cacher is severely decreasing the amount of muggle activity that is likely to be taking place. This will ultimately allow them more time to search for the cache without having to worry about being looked at by numerous people. It will also reduce the amount of muggled caches that occur each and every day. It is understood that many people cannot cache at night because they work the next morning. There are still the weekends or days off though to help us avoid the late nights before work. It is much more relaxing to know that eyes are not on you at all times while trying to find a cache in a shopping mall for instance. If you were to go there in the middle of the day it would be nearly impossible unless you get lucky.
Night time urban caching is definitely more effective and efficient than trying to get some of these during the heart of the day. Before you develop doubt about it, I suggest you give it a try and you will notice a world of difference. No more would cachers be constantly trying to think of ways to be stealthy without looking completely suspicious. Not to mention, night caching is really exciting when there is nothing else to do.

I have learned a lot over the past year through my experiences with many other cachers.
