Online money making opportunities are everywhere these days. The naysayers say, "Be careful, because about 99% of them are scams." These are typically people who have worked the same job for 20 years and have little to show for it.

At the opposite end of the spectrum, we have the program hoppers. These are people who believe almost everything they read, and are always involved with the latest, greatest program. There aren't many online money making opportunities they haven't tried.

They don't make much money, if any, but at least they're open. If only they had more staying power.

Somewhere in the middle are the ones who are making it happen. There are several different kinds of online money making opportunities available today, and many people use more than one method to create multiple streams of online income.

Affiliate Programs

Affiliate Programs allow you to sell somebody else's product while earning a commission. Affiliates typically sell several different kinds of products, and have websites set up just for that purpose.

Affiliates will typically be furnished with a sales page. If this is the case, their number one job is to get targeted traffic to that page. This is usually done by using a combination of pay-per-click and search engine optimization techniques.

Google AdSense

Of all the online money making opportunities, this one is probably the simplest. All you do is register for a Google AdSense account, then start some blogs. Your blogs should be focused on a certain niche. Google then scans the content of your blog and places ads there that are relevant to your content. You get paid every time somebody clicks an ad.

eBay

This is probably one of the most popular and powerful ways to make money online. A friend of mine spends his weekends at yard sales. He buys a bunch of stuff that looks like junk. Then he cleans it up, fixes what needs to be fixed, and sells this stuff on eBay for a huge profit.

He's actually been able to quit his full-time recently, and now he just does eBay. He's doing quite well.

Web Design

If you like building web pages and can do it quickly, web design is one of those online money making opportunities that can be a lot of fun, in addition to bringing in huge profits.

Another friend of mine travels full time while building websites for his clients, which are global. I know he easily makes six figures, probably much more. From what he tells me, what he's doing is super easy. I've seen it though, and it doesn't look that easy to me.

Network Marketing

Network marketing, or MLM, has been around since the 1950's. Not until recently, however, has it been a truly viable way to do business. The internet has completely changed how network marketing is done.

Of all the online money making opportunities out there, this is my personal favorite. Why? Residual income.

You see, my friend who travels the world while building web pages might make a lot of money, but if he stops working the money stops flowing. Not so with network marketing.

If you build and train your team properly, you earn significant income from their efforts, even if you decide to take the month off. Build a big enough team, and you may never have to work again.
