It is important to not go too large when it comes to box size because the more you fill it the heavier it is going to be. Keeping moving boxes with these dimensions as your maximum size will help avoid ending up with a box that is too big and too heavy to move, let alone stack in a moving truck.
Moving boxes made for specific items like clothes and mirrors are also good to have. Wardrobe boxes allow you to move your clothes without taking them off the hanger. It is a convenient way to pack-up a closet of clothes in a short amount of time.
Using the form-fitting boxes specifically made for pictures and mirrors will save on space in the moving van and keep your wall hangings safe and secure. Both of these types of boxes can be modified and used for other items, if you end up with extras.
