People love all programs in the television like news, sports, comedy shows, sitcom, telenovelas, movies, game show, talent competition and many more. But we might overlook the fact that watching too much television has a big impact in our children's over all health.

- Children aged 7 - 10 must only watch family oriented shows. Family oriented shows can help develop your children's emotional side and can enlightened them with family values. This can also help them to further understand the different responsibilities at home.

- Limit your child viewing experience for just 2 hours a day. It is important that you won't watch television with your child at night time. Television shows varies its targeted audience so be responsible when watching TV.

- Keep all your movie videos that are not suitable for children. Children are too curious on just about anything. They can even operate your movie player alone so keeping your favorite action movies from your children's reach will be a good step to avoid the bad effects of television.

- Give more time to your children. Spending more time with your child is much better alternative than watching television. This will better improve your relationship to your child. It has been studied that children who spent more time with their parents are less prone to deadly vices like smoking, alcohol and illegal drugs.

In summary, television today are used in pre-schools to better develop their over all abilities and talents. The only bad thing about television is the over exposure from it. All things must be taken moderately and television viewing is one of them. All of this depends on how adults and parents manage their children's time with television. Remember, parents should be the one watching our children and not the television. Watch the kids and be responsible.
