What is there to say about tea that has not been said already? If it is about the love for the drink, many people love it more than we can imagine; if it is about its strength, the green type of tea and the very strong black tea is way beyond expectation. If on the other hand it is about prices and commercial viability, ask countries like Kenya and other major tea growing countries about the revenues that they garner from tea sales. But with all this information in the public domain about this coveted plant, still some information is always necessary to add on to what is already known, or to give a unique and different perspective not yet considered.
But then in the selling of this beverage or the leaves themselves, it would be important to consider the top selling green variety of tea while checking out the umbrella selling arena in fair trade and premium issues of tea.
Green tea
This is probably the most well known among the mentioned varieties. Green tea comes in many shades, sourced from very different countries too. We have the Japanese tea that are green in color and the lotus tea originating from Vietnam. They have always been used in these countries and abroad to add the rich flavor that is so inherent in them to the cups of tea devotees. They are also considered medicinal and this is said more of the green variety than the black or white tea. The antioxidants and compounds found in the tea are considered a cancer and heart disease prevention tool. The Chinese are known to make good use of this tea as they consume it more than you can ever imagine.
Fair trade tea
Fair trade tea basically means a form of conglomeration of tea producing countries that are willing to deal fairly with each other in the beverage plant and end product business. Engaging in Fair trade is simply a bid to have both the growers and workers being treated with respect and without any underhand tactics. However endorsing the Fair trade practices has met with major challenges especially as the main growers of the beverage plant are not adherents or endorsers of the practices. But the basic idea about this plant is that it carries so huge an economic weight for one single country to carry on its own and they therefore need a coming together to harness all their growing, processing and selling capacities.
Premium tea
Catching the top quality brand of the beverage makes all the difference. Premium tea makes the whole difference considering that quality is of essence for any beverage. The idea that you can have a rich and deep drink forming in your mouth is a much coveted experience that cannot be simply allowed to pass. And even when you catch that aroma or that sweet taste you will still need more to fill that thirsty craving that will still linger even after that fist sip; you will only be advised to catch it while you still can.
