An aggressive rabbit can be a big problem. There are two main reasons your rabbit can be acting aggressive towards you:
*Food Aggression
*Self Defense

Food Aggression

Rabbits are aggressive for their food very often. The reason is that in the wild, rabbits must compete for their food. If your rabbit bites you when your feeding it, you have a food aggressive rabbit.

They bite at you because they think you are trying to steal their food. Their actions are to protect their food. They are operating on an idea of scarcity.

This can happen if you place the food in the same spot every time you feed your rabbit. A solution to this is to mix up the location of the food. Place it in different spots. This will discourage your rabbit from viewing the food bowl as its territory.

Also, you need to let your rabbit know that you are giving it the food. Establish the connection between food and your hand. To do this, place food in your hand and hand feed your rabbit.

After this becomes routine, your rabbit should be comfortable from eating from your hand. Another solution is to place food all around your rabbits cage. That way your rabbit will feel that there's an abundant supply of food available.

Self Defense

If a rabbit bites you when you are approaching the cage, it's usually in self defense. When a rabbit is in a cage and has nowhere to go, this is its last option.

The reason that this can be happening is the way you approach your rabbit. If you approach your rabbit from eye level, it can see you as a predator.

To solve this, approach your rabbit from above eye level. Reach down from a top door to your rabbit. This will make your rabbit less likely to back into a corner and attack.

If rabbit bites when u approach or put hand in cage, it's self defense
