Are you the kind of person that operates from a 'To Do' list?
I've tried it - tried putting lists on the fridge - clipped to the sun visor of the car - carried them in my wallet, pocket, bag. I've tried personal recorders, mobile phones and I'm presently looking through the eyes of YouTube.
I know a very good friend of mine - G - he runs like a glockenspiel clock with his bloody bits of time organization material - and...he has trained his family in his ways.
Hey and I'm going to tell you that with his lifestyle - he needs the organization and with his family - he needs them organized too.
So what's this about?
Writing a To Do list or Using a To Do list
Neither
It's about one of my favorite topics - becoming the best you that you can become.
Yes, I know - I heard you - you are the very best that you can be 'right now' - and that's true - but change is always happening and each moment is just that - a brief glance of light off a shining - and then we have another moment in which to 'become' the very best again.
And I'm wondering - am I ready for constant change - and I realize no - I'm a day dreamer - a creature of habit - an appreciator of sensual things (read as emotional).
So I need help - I need a 'to do' list for me 'to be'.
That's it - I need a To Be list - something that assists me to inculcate 'proper being.'
Here's one of my 'To Be' lists.
TO BE LIST
- Daily Exercise - stretching, walks and swims - (chopping wood - it's getting cooler.)
- Diet - keep it raw and light.
- Develop discipline - self discipline paves the way for proper actions - walk the path not just talk the path.
- Meditate, read inspirational books, listen to inspirational music.
- Spend time with kt in moving our relationship to higher levels.
- Write a definite amount each day and focus on service to others.
- Focus on the important rather than the urgent.
All the best in being the best you that you already are.
