Buying food at the supermarket is something that we all do,we all get hungry so eventually we have to eat, the cost of some food have gone up over fifty percent from previous months,and saving money has become a concern for all of us.

I use to see people at the cashier with coupons for most of what they are buying, they take up more time than people without coupons, and I think that without my knowledge of the savings they were getting, and being in a rush all the time, I have being missing out on some great coupon savings.
Here are some of the things that I do now to save more at the supermarket, first and foremost make a list of everything I need,before I go to the supermarket,have all my coupons ready, I also buy store brand, cereal, flour, sugar, and juice, they taste the same to me and they cost less.

The store card is the next thing you must have, go to customer service when you first enter the store, I would like to apply for a store card is all you have to say, they will take your address and phone number and give you the card right away, the magic of this card is that, sometimes an item might be on sale or promotion, but it still have the old price on it, without the card you will pay full price because the computer do not know you, but with the store card when you scan it all of a sudden, you get all your discounts automatically.

Store cards that i use quite often, PATHMARK, SHOPRITE, STOP&SHOP, CVS, & DUANE READE.
