Super Easy Versatile Cookies!

Super Simple 4 ingredient Cookie Recipe

This is a super easy cookie recipe that you can substitute one and/or two of the ingredients and you will have dozens of delightfully moist delicious cookies in a matter of minutes!

1 cake mix (see flavors suggested below)
1 egg
2 tablespoons of oil, shortening, margarine or butter
2 tablespoons of water (or suggested liquid)

Butter cookies:
Use butter (or shortening) and a yellow cake mix

Cherry cookies:
Use maraschino cherry juice in place of water, shortening and a white mix. Top each cookie with 1/2 of a maraschino cherry before baking (be sure to push cherry down slightly into dough ball).

Double Chocolate chip cookies:
Use a chocolate mix, butter and top each cookie with a few chocolate chips before baking.

Peppermint cookies:
Use shortening, white mix and add about 2 T of crushed peppermint candies (mixed into dough) before baking.

Peanut butter:
yellow mix
peanut butter in place of oil
ma have to add a little more water

Mix all of the ingredients using a high speed, heavy-duty mixer (or by hand of you have the energy). Roll dough into 1/2 inch balls and place on lightly greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees about 9 to 12 minutes. Cookies should be done but not very brown to remain chewy, this part is trial and error depending on your oven, altitude, etc.

Use your imagination! You may substitute ingredients (like the cake mix, liquid) and by adding ingredients to create many different flavored cookies.
