For people with extremely severe dry skin, here are some special treatments I would recommend.

You can purchase a bottle of olive oil and squash some lemon juice together. Apply it onto your hands and cover with a clean pair of cotton gloves. Leave them overnight. This effective hand treatment should be best carried before bedtime.

Another method you can try is to use olive oil and table salt together. Rub the mixture to your dry spots and rinse with water thereafter. Remember not to carry out this treatment if you have open, wounded skin. Apply a hand lotion for added moisturizing benefits.
