Stay Away From Diets That Claim You Can Lose Ten Pounds in One Day!

Stop and think about this for a second, did you gain the 10 pounds in one day? Of course not! Wherever you come across diets that claim you can lose ten pounds or even more in just one day, please stay away. Losing that much weight is not possible in a single day, and even if it could be possible, it would equal to a disaster.

In order for you to realize why this is so dangerous, you need to become familiarized with the healthy weight loss diet. When all considered after some healthy diet and exercising you can lose a healthy one pound per week. Now imagine what kind of shock losing ten pounds in one day might your body be going through. First of all it is virtually impossible, and secondly it will bring your health to a unhealthy condition. According to some healthy diet plans, you need to burn 3500 calories in order to lose one pound. This all sounds great, but you are forgetting the fact that you need to take some additional calories every day, in order to speed up your metabolism. Now losing ten pounds in one day would literally mean a breakdown of your entire system. And all those diets that are offering these kind of solutions are actually offering you with some short term solution and making it all worse in the long run.

Burning calories is under your control as long as you are working on your metabolism, not against it. Starving will make you gain the weight and not lose it!  And any diet that offers drastic weight loss should be avoided!  The worst thing you can do is to starve your metabolism which will in return be slowing it down even further. Slowing down your metabolism will not give you the wanted results since you will not be burning any stored calories, but only the additional ones.

The worst thing is that during and after many drastic diets you feel exhausted, tired, not in the mood, nervous, sleepy and you are constantly nervous because your body is demanding food thus further increase your appetite and want for food. It is impossible for you to lose ten pounds in one day, but you will lose some, but what happens once the diet is over?

These diets do not provide you with any long term solutions. After you are done, you will feel more hunger and start eating a lot more then you used to. After some time you will noticed that not only have you gained all those pounds you lost during the diet, but you also gained some additional pounds as well. Therefore, all that terror you've put yourself through did not pay off. And one last thing that you have to bare in mind, is what these diets do to your health. During these diets, you are depriving your body of the most important items necessary for its normal functioning. In diets that claim that you can lose the ten pounds in one day, there are no vitamins, proteins, fibers, nothing that will keep you metabolism running and functioning in good order.
