If you are considering starting your own business but are having trouble deciding what sort of business would be easy to set up on a small budget, you might want to look at starting a commercial cleaning business. Here are seven reasons why a commercial cleaning business would be a good opportunity to break into.

1. Low start up capital. You need very little equipment for business start up. All that is required is basic cleaning materials and a vehicle. If you already have a vehicle, you can use that until the business has grown sufficiently to fund the purchase of a company vehicle.

2. Simple to start. There is no complicated business model to follow, so the business start up is easy to manage. You can start off as a one person operation and expand the business by taking on more staff as and when you require.

3. Good growth potential. The commercial cleaning is highly competitive. As a small business, you will have low overheads and, therefore, will be in a position to undercut the big cleaning companies.

4. Flexible hours. Subject to your customers' requirements you can work the hours that suit you. You could start your cleaning business while you are still employed elsewhere, and fit in one or two evening shifts until you have built the business up to the point where you need to put in more hours.

5. Early profitability. The breakeven point comes much earlier than in most businesses and with a commercial cleaning business you can recoup your investment and be in profit within about 3-6 months.

6. Unlimited earning potential. The cleaning industry offers a terrific opportunity for anyone who is prepared to work. If you provide a good reliable service, you will be able to increase your customer base on the strength of recommendations as well as by advertising.

7. Staff training is easy. The work is not difficult to learn. It can be physically demanding, but any able-bodied person can be trained to a good level of competence in a very short time.

Startinga cleaning business could be the thing that transforms your lifestyle to one you have always imagined but never thought you would achieve. Running any business takes work, but the rewards make the effort worthwhile and a commercial cleaning business is no exception.
