Before it was a sign of being in Big Business to actually have a website or a personalized e-mail address but today there are thousands of ways to create Your own web-sites or even social networks quickly an easily.

One of the easiest services that has been created to make Your own Website is Squidoo. They may be called Squidoo 'lenses' as they are the 'lense' You look at the internet through but if more closely considered a 'lense' is actually a website.

Now the beauty of Squidoo is that since the content on it is ever changing this means that Google is consistently 'crawling' it for new pages. This means that when Your lens goes live it will immediately be 'crawled' by Google. This means that as long as You've made a search engine friendly, content full lens then You will be ranked by Google.

In addition to this when You make a lense You are given a choice to choose 3 lenses that are most like Your own, this means that people who usually visit more popular lens will be referred to Your lense.

Since Squidoo is a community based network this also means that if You simply leave a comment on another lense or in the forum saying that You're new to the website and You'd like people to check out Your lens and give You feedback then people will be more than willing to do so.

A few things to consider are that You don't want to create a lens that is purely about Your product or what You're promoting. If You're making a lense about fitness products since You're marketing one then why not make a product review lense and use Your affiliate link as the link everybody can click on to get to the sales page.

It is true that You've essentially made a lense dedicated to selling but You're being helpful by reviewing these products. The best bit is that since every link is Your affiliate link You can be honest about the different products. What's the use in lying if You get paid regardless of which one the person buys?

Be helpful, entertaining and informative in Your lenses and Your fans will grow.

Lastly I'll add the two bits of advice I continuously give. Have Fun & Be Consistent. After You get the hang of making a lense You can put together a Beautiful lense in 10 - 15 minutes. Go Bananas!
