Squeeze Page Secrets - 4 Things You MUST Have

Expert Author Justin Glover

By incorporating the squeeze page secrets that I am about to share with you in this article, you will put yourself ahead of most other marketers. A squeeze page should be the page that you send ALL of your traffic to.

It has one purpose and one purpose only. To capture the name and email address of the visitor. One of the best squeeze page secrets that I can give you is that it needs to provide the visitor with only one option.

After all, the only purpose is to capture their email address, so why should you provide them with any other options? When you do, you will lower your conversions. (less people opting in)

This is one that a lot of people miss. They put links out to other sites. Sometimes they do this without even realizing it by putting a YouTube video on the squeeze page. If the visitor clicks on the video more then once, YouTube will open up in a new window. This distracts the visitor, and takes away from the effect of your page.

4 things that every successful squeeze page must have...

1. An attention grabber - You only have a couple of seconds to grab the attention of your new visitor, so make sure you have an attention grabber. This can be a big red headline, or a flashing arrow, or whatever. Just make sure you get their attention so they will read the rest of the page.

2. A compelling offer - You need to have something that hooks people and makes them want to take the desired action of opting in. This can be done in as little as one sentence, or with bullet points. Just remember to focus on the user benefits, and not the features of your product. Nobody buys a drill because the want a drill. They buy it because they want a hole.

3. Call to action - After you get their attention and help them realize that they need to do something, it is important for you to give them a strong, clear call to action. Tell them exactly what you want them to do. Speak to them like a third grader if you have to.

4. Opt in form - The last component is the most obvious. You must have an opt in form embedded on your squeeze page before people can opt in. This can be found in the back office of your autoresponder service.
