Making your own shower curtain for Christmas is easy and fun all you have to do is:
Step 1:
Using wrapping paper, coloring book of your kids, or even Christmas cards, decide what design you'd want to have and start off with cutting out simple line drawings or even texts for you to use as your templates. You can also manipulate the sizes if you have a copier.
Step 2:
Using a parchment paper or freer paper with the shiny side up, cover your work surface and secure it with a masking tape to prevent the paint from sticking to your work surface. This way, the curtains peel up nicely once they have dried up.
Step 3:
When you've finished placing the curtains on the work surface, have pulled them taut and taped down the edges with a tape, pin the drawings or texts on the curtains in your desired locations. You may trace the designs around with colored markers if you desired to do so. Allow the paint to dry completely before removing your templates.
Step 4:
Like finishing a coloring book, color the drawings with colors you'd want to use that tickles your fancy. I suggest you use excellent fabric paint like Jacquard Textile Color which can also be bought in the internet. Then let each coat dry completely before applying next ones. You can also speed up the drying process by using hair dryers or heat guns.
Step 5:
After everything has been colored and dried up, you can now hang your designed Christmas shower curtain for a festive holiday.
