I am wondering if you had a chance to understand your own metabolism. I don't know if you are one of those who likes to give genetic excuses about getting fat. But One thing I am sure, after reading this article, You'll notice the change in your beliefs about metabolism.

What exactly is metabolism and how it effects you?

Now I can easily give you scientific explanation, but I don't want to make it harder on you. Metabolism is rate at which your body burn calories. If your metabolism is high, you'll lose fat faster and be more in the thin zone. So if your metabolism is slow, you'll be bit stocky than others.

What effects your metabolism anyway?

If you think, it's age or your thyroid, your are dead wrong. Here's a small list of things that'll effect your metabolism

4. Muscles tissues (One pound of muscle burn more calories than one pound of fat)

5. Stress (No wonder eh?)

6. A little of genetic make up.

How to jump start metabolism?

Believe it or not, the easiest way to boost your metabolism is by increasing your activity level (start exercising) and improving your diet. The moment you'll change these elements, you'll notice changes in your body.

With exercise, You'll build muscles, have less stress and be more active.

With changes in diet, you'll be eating good food (No more junk food, colas, beer etc).

In reality, We don't get fat because of no exercising, we get fat because of giving our body more calories than it can burn. Simple and easy. The moment you are burning more calories, you'll be dropping fat like no other. This is why almost all the trainers recommend you to fix your diet. In fact, this is the reason why diet's succeed.

In fact I challenge you to control your diet for next 30 days, eat only good food and with control. At the end of 30 days you'll be surprised at the results.
