Solar energy science projects are something that most university students and science enthusiasts are very interested in and want to pursue because of the ease with which they can be built and also because of the money that can be saved if used properly and efficiently on a larger scale. Because of the versatility of this device and because this is available for very low prices, the demand for solar cookers is especially high in developing countries. It is also seen in many villages in Africa where the poor people are always looking for ways to save money. Therefore, most renewable energy devices including the solar cooker are used a lot in poorer countries. Now let me introduce you to some other solar energy science projects that you can possibly pursue and which also have the same effect. Many innovations and ideas are constantly being implemented in this field thus also serving as a lucrative career.
Another solar energy science project that you could pursue would be a solar water heater. This is also pretty simple to do and takes very little time to complete. Metal pipes and glass panel is all you require to build a solar water heater. Since heating costs are so high, these solar water heaters can also help in reducing that and hence saving you a lot of money.
