Christmas is a time during which you enjoy decorating your house and celebrating with family and friends. A lot of attractive tubes and bright bulbs are used to make your house attractive and appealing but the cost of powering them can sometimes be very expensive. To avoid this problem, new Christmas lights have been launched which are becoming popular day by day.
These things work just like new garden lights. A string is attached to the controller board that has solar cells, a battery and a sensor. The cell is charged by the energy of sun that it receives during the day time. Now let me tell you about some important things about these lights.
1. Economically sound and environment friendly
The cell uses the sun's energy and converts it into electricity, this makes them environment friendly and economically sound. These are used as alternatives for traditional Christmas lights which consumes a large amount of power.
2. They are available in various designs, shapes and sizes
Just like the Christmas fairy lights, these also come in various colors, varieties, designs and styles. The application of these lights completely depends on the outdoor display. Some require an on and off working while others remain on continuously. If you want a higher intensity light then you have purchase the ones which have a controller through which you can increase or decrease the twinkling.
3. They add beauty to your homes
Solar powered lights add beauty and elegance to the decor of your homes throughout the amazing Christmas season. But while placing them you must make sure that they are installed in a place which receives direct sunlight. Besides Christmas they can also be used for birthdays, anniversaries, advertising and as porch, garden and landscape lights.
4. Popular Solar Christmas lights
Two most popular Christmas lights that have just been launched are solar rope and string lights. In the rope, a string of LED's are wired together and then enclosed in a transparent plastic tube. You can use these for outlining doorways and windows. String ones have efficient LED bulbs and you can install them indoors or outdoors but always place the solar panel outside so that it can collect sun's energy.
It is not often advisable to place them on trees and bushes because at these places the direct sunlight can be blocked. But you can easily place them on offices and public buildings together with traditional Christmas ones.
