Too many wanna-be internet marketers get frustrated & find it difficult to progress once they have made up their minds to give it a go.

Why? Too many wanna-be's spend much too much time reading & researching & not enough time doing it. Doing what? Getting actively involved in their new business venture & start to make things happen. You will not make things happen whilst you're reading a book or downloading another article. There is just so much information out there: courses, coaching seminars, DVD's, ebooks, "free" reports & a whole host of get rich on the Internet material. You would go into information meltdown if you attempted to read everything out there.

Many, many wanna-be marketers quite rightly buy & study a lot of this available information, getting themselves prepared for the big day. Unfortunately, for many of them, that day never arrives. They get so tangled up with reading & talking about marketing that the "Doing" bit sort of passes them buy & they move onto something else. Never make a sale. Never make a buck.

So, what does it take to succeed with Internet marketing? 1^st step if you really want to start earning some serious money from your home-based Internet Marketing business is to stop studying for a while & start working at your Internet Marketing venture. You are going to learn much, much more pushing the new venture forward than you ever will by subscribing to even more educational literature etc. We live & learn by our mistakes. Take the bull by the horns.

How do I sell, what do I sell & how much money do I need in my start up fund?

There are many ways of selling products on the Internet. Firstly, you are going to need subscribers, customers or people to sell too. These are either visitors to your websites, your e-lists owned by joint venture (JV) partners or your own e-list subscribers. These lists need to be built up over a period of time & are not going to be there from day one.

You will need a product or products to sell, either your own products or those produced by your JV partners. The most popular way to drive potential customers to your landing page on your website is by e-mail marketing messages, once you have built up a suitable list of subscribers. Just to reiterate here; Internet marketing is not & never will be a get rich quick opportunity. It is going to take time & effort. Effort to build lists, effort to compose & build your website & efforts to resource the correct products.

The sooner you commit to starting your new venture, the sooner the lists can begin to grow, and the sooner your websites will be visible. If no one knows where to look or there is no one looking you will not be selling much! Today is a pretty good day to get started.

When you get started, draw up a workable plan & commit to work on your new business everyday. If you work fulltime as well, try & have just an hour in the evening, remain positive in the early days, as things will be slow to mature. A must have is a Things to Do list as you will find in the beginning, just so many things to do. Work away at the list, completing each to do, even if it takes a few days. It is worth & leaves no loose ends that might just trip you up later.

As you work on your Internet marketing business you will obviously be learning more as you go. Much better than just reading about it & really, much more meaningful, don't you think?
