Smoking does more that just cause lung problems. When you smoke you breathe in hot air which burns your insides which include your digestive tract. Your digestive tract absorbs nutrients your body needs but if it is all messed up how is it able to do that? The truth is your digestive system can't absorb nutrients anymore. That is why smokers lose weight while smoking. It is also the reason they gain weight if or when they stop. When a person stops smoking, their body begins to heal which means it can absorb more nutrients again which will cause you to gain weight.
Smoking is not good for you. It does bad things to your body and can ruin your diet. As you smoke you become addicted to nicotine. When that happens it makes it easier to become addicted to other things like sugar for example. You will lose control of your self and not be able to stop from eating all the bad food you want. Therefore your diet will suffer, you will not lose fat in a healthy way, your insides will continue to decrease in functionality, and you will die a slow death.
Smoking also hinders your performance when exercising. Exercising is important when it come to dieting and smoking will stop you from doing many exercises like running, walking, and aerobics. Smoking is a bad habit, it slowly kills you, and you will never have a healthy diet while smoking.
If you want to lose weight healthfully then smoking is not the way to do it.
