When you work from home, you may not get enough sleep. Even though you no longer have a commute to and from your previous job, it is still possible to over-extend yourself and end up in a sleep deprived state. Here are some things that can help you to remedy this situation if this sounds like what is happening in your life.
Take a look at the activities you do first thing in the morning and last at night. It seems that more people who work from their house tend to volunteer for household duties that go on during these two periods of time. This is probably because others members of the family are away from the house during these times, or are working outside of the home during the day, and are just too tired to help out. If this describes your situation, you may want to take a nap during the early afternoon, or ask one of your family members to trade with you for another household chore.
Now take a look at what you have planned for yourself each day. If you work for yourself you are much more likely to schedule too much for yourself. Even though you may feel like working at home is easier and less stressful than a home business, this is not always the case.
Reduce your work load for a full week and see how it feels. This may be the perfect solution. You can also find someone to help you on a part-time basis. I have several people who help me, and they are all working remotely as virtual assistants.
