Stop Calling Him

If you're like most girls, your self-esteem has fallen in the gutter and you've taken to calling him every other second. The first thing you have to do is stop this. Put yourself in his shoes. Having someone constantly call is nothing but annoying. Totally! So the first step you can do is to stop calling.

Keep Him Guessing

If there was passion, there can be again. Guys are pretty simple. There's an old saying - all a girl has to do is show up and a guy's happy. So the idea then is to get him to remember these things - and absence does make the heart grow fonder. So if you've done the first thing by not calling every second, (especially if you were) the stopping of your calls will send a signal to him. Now he's going to be wondering what you're up to. Good this is what you want. You may even find that he calls you.

Guys Don't Like To Be Controlled

The number one thing that guys DON'T like is for their girlfriend to tell them what to do, tell them who they should be hanging out with - and trying to change him. If you like the guy, why are you trying to change him anyway? If you are - this is a big no-no - it's sending the signal that he's not good enough for you. Accepting a guy for who he is - is the key to having him care in return. If he's ever said anything to you like "you're not my mother," take this as a warning sign that he's feeling as if you are trying to control him.

Honor His Space

When guys get upset they retreat - they go into the cave. Don't follow after him and start haranguing - this will guarantee that he'll just pull further away. And it's silly really to chase after him - so if you are - stop it right now!. Guys need time to think about what they're feeling - and they can't do it with you ragging in their ear. Let him be - honor his space.

Find Something That He Likes

And be willing to share it with him - but be real - don't try and share something with him as a means to get him back - faking it stands out like a sore thumb. If he likes football, and you do too - then share that with him. If he likes hiking and you like nature - this is a great thing to share together.

Try Something New

Be willing to try something new - seriously - like arrange to go sailing - or take a train ride together - be willing to get outside of the habits you've created with him - add some spice back and your life can change.
