Simple Aerobic Workouts to Get in Shape Fast

If you want to succeed with your aerobic workouts then you have to make a lot of changes to your workouts. There can be a lot of reasons why your workouts are not very effective at the moment but that can all change very quickly. Doing the proper aerobic workouts to get in shape, is something that brings success.

What you should focus on

1. The intensity of your workout
2. The duration of the exercise
3. The frequency at which you do the workout
4. Your motivation to exercise

Intensity

If you want to get in shape fast then you need to make your workouts more intense. a casual walk in the park does nothing to make you lose fat and get in shape. for example bicycling at 10-11.9mph for a 200 pound man for 40minutes burns 453 calories. But if the man increases his intensity to 14-15.9mph, then hi would burn 758 calories during the same period. The more calories you burn the faster you will get in shape.

Duration

A lot of the times the duration of aerobic workouts for a lot of people is not long enough. It is not enough if you do only 15-20 minute workouts. Yes, you will burn some fat but the progress is very slow. A aerobic exercise has to be somewhere between 25-45 minutes long, sometimes even 60 minutes.

Frequency

Another variable that you can play with is frequency. It is impossible to expect magical results if you only workout 2-3 times a week. If you really want to get in shape fast then you have to increase your frequency to at least 4-5 times a week. Some people need even more aerobic training, so try different things and find out what works for you.

Motivation

If you do not have the motivation and desire to exercise then getting in shape is next to impossible. a great way to find motivation is to make yourself personal records to aim at.
