I love affiliate marketing. Affiliate marketing has made me hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years, but I recently gave that all up for online MLM. Why you might ask? In this brief article, I am going to give you some reasons for my shift in thinking and why I haven’t regretted my decision in the least. With affiliate marketing, you’re basically building someone else’s business. Sure, there is something to be said for not having to deal with customer service issues, product fulfillment, etc., but what do you really have left at the end of the day?

With online MLM, you’re building a business. Something that continues to pay you over and over, week in and week out, even after you stop promoting. This is true residual income, and unless you’re promoting affiliate programs with recurring monthly commissions (such as a membership site), you’re only getting paid one time for the work you’ve done.

Online network marketing offers all of the benefits of affiliate marketing, but takes things to an entirely new level. Building a downline organization adds an entirely new element to your business, and that is duplication and leverage. Do the work once, get paid forever.
