So your ex boyfriend has realized that he made a big mistake ending his relationship with you and he wants to start dating you again. Well, I can certainly sympathize with him. But I have always believed that it would serve them right if you made him sweat it out a little bit before you take him back. Of course, he is the one who put you through the heart ache. It may be a good idea if you put some thought into if a relationship with him is even a viable option. After all, he did break it off with you in the first place.

Here are a few areas you may want to consider before welcoming him back with open arms.

1) Is he truly the right man for you? If you are madly in love with him, you may be saying yes. But think about it. Does he really love you, or just the thought of you?

2) Is this one of those on-and-off again relationships? These types' of relationships have a lot of passion. But they also come with a lot of baggage and heart ache when the relationship takes a nose dive.

3) Is he going to be taking advantage of you? I would have to ask him, why does he want to come back? What do you have to offer that the other woman could not offer? Men are notorious for going back to a previous lover for sex and then bolting after a few weeks. Pick his brain and see if he truly has a good reason for wanting to pursue a relationship with you.
