Setting Up eBay Stores

eBay is the most talked about website in the world with millions of people visiting it every day. Some people have even become addicted to eBay because of the significant savings that can be made. eBay isn't only great for buyers looking for a great deal because it's also fantastic for sellers who want to make a profit.

eBay was initially started as a way for anyone to sell anything they wanted on the internet. It has evolved over the years and is now a very popular business platform where not only individuals sell but also businesses too.

eBay Shops

One of the most popular features is eBay stores which are also known in the UK as eBay shops. eBay Stores are very popular ways for businesses to expand the amount of money they make on eBay. With an eBay shop instead of listing products on the main site you can list it in a section where only your products are listed.

This makes it possible to promote your brand and have a shop which is independent from the main eBay and can be promoted separately.

If you want to open an eBay store then you will need to make sure that you meet specific criteria. You will first need to open a seller account and for this you will need to enter your payment details. As long as you have a feedback score of at least 10 or a PayPal verified account then you can open an eBay shop.

Why set up eBay Stores

eBay stores are useful for people that have been selling on eBay for some time and want to find a way to promote their business and increase their revenue. eBay shops aren't really suitable for anyone that's new to eBay. Listing items in your eBay store will be cheaper than listing on the main site.

You can customize your eBay shop by creating your own logo and store name. It's also possible to cross promote your own products on eBay which will make it much easier to sell products.

When your eBay shop is created there are a number of different ways that you can list items in your store. You can either list them using an auction style in a similar way to the main site, or as a fixed price buy it now listing.

When listing items in your eBay shop the listing fees are lower than normal listing fees. You can also adjust the length of time that listings are active in your store for.

Promotion

When your eBay store has been set up you can't just sit back and wait for the money to roll in. You need to get people to visit your eBay shop. You will be given an external address so that people can directly access your site, and you might even like to consider signing up for a domain name to point to your eBay store.

If you promote your eBay store well then there is a very good chance that you will be able to build a very profitable business.
