Selling Books On Amazon

College bookstores charge an arm and a leg for books, and then when people bring them back after the semester, they don't pay more than about 20 percent of the original price. Then they turn around and sell them again for a price that is close the new one. This is not fair.

Some people would consider this a shakedown, and a lot of money is being made off of the educational needs of students.

You can sell your books online for a lot more money than through the bookstore. This is great because you can keep someone else from getting rich off your education, and you can charge a fair price that other students can afford to buy.

Consider selling your books either on eBay or else Amazon.com. Both sites have an enormous amount of traffic and they are very easy to use. There are fees involved, and eBay will charge you a percentage of what you sell your book for.

A lot of people like Amazon because even though the person selling the book is an individual, just like eBay, people think that Amazon is selling it. This makes them more comfortable with buying. The thing with Amazon.com is that they will charge you a listing fee. This means that they will charge you based on the price that you decide to sell your book for.

While you can try and sell your books in online communities or forums, it is not really recommended because there aren't a lot of people looking for books on these sites, and there is really no buyer protection or system in place like eBay or Amazon.com has.

You will do better there because they have a more established and trusted platform, and you can get reviews which will increase your credibility over time.

Also, getting a PayPal account is an absolute necessity to receive funds when you sell your books. It is easy to set up, and only takes seconds to get paid.
