Self-Motivation to Success - Motivation Skills That Attract Wealth

Expert Author Roy Primm

The purpose of self-motivation is nature's way of getting us to our goals. The importance of having goals means always having a place to go with our latent energies. Self-motivation will be of little benefit to you if you have no place or purpose to direct it in.

Having a goal will not only give you a constructive outlet to direct your energies, it will also work to add more to your energy level. The result you get is momentum. All successful people have the power of momentum working for them at one time or another.

The main thought to keep in mind when choosing a goal is to make the goal a constructive one. Your goals should never be anything, unethical, immoral or harmful to others. You can prove this to yourself, by observing the crowded prisons and jails. Many of these people motivated themselves, but toward wrong, immoral and unethical purposes.

Take control of your life now and choose a positive goal and make it work - use the simple techniques contained in this report.

1. Choose a specific goal.

2. Know when you plan to achieve it (be realistic).

3. Take action.

Note: Being specific is essential to using self-motivation to achieve your goals. When you're specific you give your mind a clearer picture of what you want and the energy to get it. For example, being specific is not just saying you want a car. But knowing what kind of car, the color, type of interior, model, year, etc.

Saying your want more money is not enough, be specific. How much money? What do you plan to give in return for it? Remember, there's no such thing as something for nothing. You always work to earn money and to keep it.

The key to using these self-motivation techniques to attract wealth is finding what you're passionate about. Most people make the rookie mistake of focusing on what they think will make them money, ignoring their passions.

If you're passionate or love what you're doing the money eventually comes. That's why you'll notice people attract wealth in all kinds of ways, cotton balls, rubber mallets, even dog poop.

Choosing goals you're passionate about will automatically help as a motivational tool. You can use your passion to help motivate yourself to positive, successful constructive actions. Pick the passions that are closest to your interest or present situation and make them as specific as you can, make them real to you!

Focusing on you passions is meant to get your mental juices flowing write them down. After you have your passions/goals written down on paper (very important) study them daily. Don't be afraid to up-date your passions/goal list as you get greater insights.

After a period of time you'll quietly begin to see better ways to accomplish your goals, don't ignore them. Continue to take actions, however small. Beware: Many of the ways to your goals will be disguised as hard work, discipline and sacrifice.
