Captain, my captain, it's time to seize the day and set sail for brighter climes. Whitman wasn't really writing about boat charters, but for my purposes, he did. So, stand on your desks and salute that one special person in your life who taught you to venture forth and enjoy everything life has to offer. And, of course, one of the best things life has to offer is a LA yacht charter. Granted, that a mouthful, but it's still a day you get to spend doing nothing more than delighting in the sun and surf of Southern California.
Now, you may be wondering: is this for business or pleasure? It doesn't really matter. A day on board a charter is big enough to be a bit of both. Now, while you may roll your eyes at the thought of renting a yacht and being trapped on board with all your work colleagues, you should know you can have the charter catered and set ablaze with the music of your favorite local band or mariachi. Of, if you're rolling in the big bucks, you can rent Billy Joel for the night and watch the coastline roll by in time to "We Didn't Start the Fire."
No, Walt Whitman wouldn't know what to do with a yacht charter. In fact, Billy Joel might not have a clue either. But, still, you can set your day right, close a few deals, then relax as the sun drops into the Pacific. Soon, the sky will be ablaze with fiery red and crimson-laced pink -- and all the while the yacht will sail on. Jokes will be told, drinks enjoyed, great food ingested -- and all the while the yacht will sail on. You'll want to pinch yourself as you stand on the deck of the yacht and watch the City of Angels drift by, like some slow, slithering reptile -- and all the while the yacht will sail on.
What you do -- or don't do -- during your time aboard a LA yacht charter is your prerogative. Choose wisely and enjoy...
