Energy is everywhere. It permeates everything. Energy is what binds the universe. Our bodies are surging with this energy. Electrical impulses fire off in our brains and race through our nervous systems at the speed of light. The activity of our brain and nervous system creates a field of energy that surrounds our body much like the electromagnetic field that surrounds the Earth. This is known as our bioelectric field or aura. This energy field surrounds all living things including plants.

Everyone's aura is unique to them and changes with their moods as well as their mental, physical, and spiritual health. The color and strength of our aura depends on many things but chakra alignment is the biggest factor in determining the state of the aura. This is because the chakras or the spiritual energy centers are the core energy source for the aura.

Some people have the ability to read the auras of other people and tell things about their state of mind and well being. Other people can actually "see" the auras of others. This varies greatly with different people. Some perceive auras as tiny single sparks of light that vary in color and intensity. Some people can indirectly see the auras of other people by perceiving a shift in the spectrum and quality of the color of objects surrounding a person. While others claim to be able to directly view the auras of others and see their full spectrum. Regardless of how they are perceived, everyone has the ability to sense and read auras on some level Even if it is just at the subconscious level with realizing it.

Learning to read and perceive auras takes time and much practice. It also helps to have people who are willing to work and train with you as you develop your higher senses. Aura reading, like many other extrasensory abilities, is a passive ability. This means that any amount of conscious forcing will actually work against the use and development of the ability. It is some that you have to let come to you through much patience and diligent meditation. It helps to visualize the chakras and their corresponding rainbow of colors. You also need to be in tune with yourself and your own feelings. You cannot have any mental, spiritual, or emotional blockages. Practicing Spring Forest Qi Gong is an excellent way to clear up any blockages that you may be experiencing. Chakra balancing and aura cleansing are also great ways of healing and centering yourself.

Once you feel that you are prepared and open to perceive them, you will soon discover how auras are revealed to you personally. We are all unique and everyone views the world through their own filter or lens. This is why people perceive auras in different ways. We each have our own unique view and perspective of the universe and we look upon it from different angles. This is what keeps things interesting. The way you see and sense auras may completely differ from the few ways that I listed earlier. Do not be discouraged if you feel like you cannot do this.
