Secrets of Article Writing - How to Rewrite Your Articles

The one negative I have about rewriting articles is that no matter how careful you are at rewriting, you run the risk of getting your articles blocked by the article directories because of duplicate content.

However, if rewriting articles is something you want to do then ensure that the stuff that you rewrite does not appear anywhere on your website. Because if something you have written gets blocked by a directory and it appears on your website, then your website will be banned too - i.e. It will be removed the Google, MSN and all the other popular directories.

Here are some tips that will help you to rewrite articles easily and successfully:

#1 - Take an article you wish to rewrite. It's best if it is one that you have previously written yourself. However, if the article you have is from another source then that's fine. Next you want to identify three or four central words of text. For example two central words in what I am writing now might be "rewrite" and "article".

#2 - You want to replace the three or four words with words that are very similar in meaning. Replace each of the words with synonymous words. A synonym for "rewrite" might be "redraft", "amend" or "rephrase". Use whichever synonym you feel comfortable with and that makes your writing easy to read.

#3 - One of the easier ways to replace each of the central words is to use the 'search' and 'replace' facility available in your word processing software. I am using Microsoft Word. If you are using another wordprocessing software you will have to do a little hunting to find the facility.
