Secrets Revealed - The Fine Art of Making Baby Dolls That Look Real

Have you seen baby dolls that look so life like? In fact it was so life like that you thought it would cry any moment? It takes a really skilled artist to make such life like models. And even then, making them is no easy task. Here is a short description on how experts make these dolls.

The secret to making the lifelike baby is the mold. The mold is the pattern where the baby's body, legs, and arms are made. Each is specially made to closely represent each body part. A special kind of plastic is used to make the whole body. This plastic almost feels like human skin.

Baby skin looks different from adults. It has a different texture and suppleness. Another important part of making these dolls is the paint. It is responsible for giving that baby skin appearance. To get this effect, it requires a lot of patience and skill in painting. Each part is painted by hand to get the desired result. This can take time and a lot of effort.

More attention is given to the hands and feet. The hands and feet look almost like the real thing. Even the nails on the fingers and toes are almost real. If you look closer, you can even see that the veins are found along the body.

As for the hair, it also appears natural on first glance but it's not. The hair is synthetic but it really looks like the real thing. The eyebrows are made the same way. To get the natural look, each hair strand is sewn to the head. It takes a special kind of needle for this job. It also takes a while to get each strand in so it can be painstaking work.

These dolls are as made to be as heavy as real babies. Each baby is stuffed and weighed until they feel like a real one. Cotton is usually used as stuffing. Sometimes glass beads are added to the stuffing to make the baby heavier.

There are other features you can add to your baby to make it unique. The eyes of the baby doll can be closed or open depending on your preference. If you want, you can also get a baby that has a heartbeat that you can listen to. Some even have pacifiers that are held in place by locks or magnets. Another feature you can add is the ability to breathe. The doll's chest rises up and down slightly to mimic breathing.

And to top things off, each baby comes with a set of cute baby clothes. Finding clothes for the baby to wear is just like shopping for real baby clothes. Since they look like real babies, you can have them wear different baby clothes.

Making these baby dolls that look real is a time consuming process. The materials used are all high quality. The end result is a doll that looks much like a child. It can cost a lot of money. However, for people who collect these dolls. It is worth every penny spent.

There are many cute baby dolls that look real out there. A baby doll that looks real has a lifelike quality to it that many doll enthusiasts and children prefer to ordinary dolls.
