Give to the Poor: - Let us go first to the word of God in Proverbs 28:27 "He that giveth unto the poor shall not lack: but he that hideth his eyes shall have many curse".

When you GIVE to the poor, there is a divine flow that causes you never to lack good things in you life. Giving to the poor is an investment that yields greater dividend than any shares you can buy from any viable company on earth. Let's see Proverbs 19:17 He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath GIVEN will he (God) pay him again.

Any time you give to the poor, you are entering into a business transaction with God. What you give, God will pay you again more than you gave. I love Eccl. 11:1-5, it explains this in another dimension, read it.

"Cast thy bread upon the waters: for thou shalt find it after many days. Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth If the cloud be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall towards the south, or towards the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be. He that observeth the wind shall not sow: and he that regardeth the clouds shall not reap. As thou knowest not what is the way of the Spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God maketh all things In the morning, sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall proper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good".

Giving must be regular and consistent, you don't know the one you will give that will bring the highest reward from God, the secret is keep on giving. The truth is those who give (whether Christians or Pagan) shall receive, this explains why many people who do not know God are prospering and this will continue as long as they continue to give. On the other hand, those who claim to know God will continue in their poverty, if they do not shift their ground concerning giving. God cannot help you if you will not be a cheerful giver, heaven's blessings will be withhold until you release the things that is in you hand. God told the widow of Zarephath to first feed the man of God; the food was not sufficient yet she obeyed. Success in the area of finance is possible only if you can faithfully and sincerely give to God's cause.

Giving in contribution to the development of God's work is one of the most rewarding types of giving. The bible says, "for God so loved the world (the people of the world) that He gave..." why did He give? He gave because, He is not willing that any should perish... but up till now many people are dying in their sins. God's heart is bleeding for the sinners who are perishing because they cannot be reached with the Gospel. Teaming up with God to reach the unreached is a major partnership with God that will never go unrewarded. When you give of you money and things to the Gospel, you are identifying with God, you are giving your life (because your money represent your life) in support of God's project - that all should come to repentance. The preaching of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ needs a lot of money these days if we must reach more people on the face of the earth.

All aspect of the Gospel is becoming more expensive; the work of God to have a smooth course must run on abundance of funds. When you get ready to team up with God by making your money available to God's ministers for the propagation of the Gospel of Christ, you are delving into a dimension of God, a level where not even the devil can dare play with your finances. It is a realm where God Himself is involved in your financial well being because they know that all your (money) are His and all His (money) are yours.
